a long time." - babe

"When I did try to cash out using their software, I was
told to send an e-mail request, including my credit card number. I hate to send
my credit card number through non-encripted e-mail but I evidently had no
choice."
Flash
Casino Fortune (aka FlashWins.com)
Ever watchful for something new in the Internet casino game, we
ran across an ad for FlashWins Casino advertising new Flash games. Since
FlashWins is part of the well-respected Sunny Group, we decided to check it
out.
Once you're in the Flash Wins site, you'll see that only Flash
Casino ligaz888 Fortune (aka "FCF") is mentioned. If fact the software appears
to be coming off of the Casino Fortune server. So let's call it like it is:
Flash Wins is a doorway into Flash Casino Fortune. That done, let's get down to
business.
The industry savvy reader will already by asking an important
question here: "Casino Fortune? They're a MicroGaming site,
soooo...?" That's right, FCF is a new set of Flash games from MicroGaming,
only recently made available for real-money play.
After deciding whether you want to register as "Play for
Fun" or "Real" you'll finally arrive at the games themselves.
You've got Blackjack, Keno, Slots, and Video Poker to choose from. This is a
little thin, but there are eight (8) variations on the Slots theme, and four
(4) varieties of Video Poker.
FCF Blackjack offers a $2 minimum -- all bets are increments of
$2 -- and the dealer Stands on all 17s. Slots and VP both have 25¢ minimums. I
didn't check out all the VP variations but "Jacks or Better" is a
full-pay 9/6 game. Keno isn't my thing so I gave that a pass.
Overall I found the Flash games at FCF quite respectable.
They're reasonably fast, look good, and have enough multimedia attached to
capture and keep the player's interest. I especially liked the fact that the
games can be expanded to full screen size without problems. So what you get is
nice, smooth graphics without the hassle of a download.
On the other hand what you do not get is any user
configurability (i.e. turn off the sounds, etc.). Nor do you get the
state-of-the-art 3D casino "feeling" that the latest download
packages can offer. To be fair, these limitations apply to every no-download package
I've ever seen and most of them don't look or play nearly as good as the FCF
Flash games.
A couple of small things bear mentioning. On the FlashWins site
there is a button that says "$20 Bonus, Play Now!". Even though I'd
gone through the (mandatory) sign-up process, registered a credit card,
deposited money and connected to the game server I saw nothing that even hinted
at the $20 Bonus. I went looking and still found nothing. So as much as I'd
like to tell you the details of the Bonus program I can't. However I did
receive an email the next day indicating that the Bonus had been deposited to
my account, so there you go.
Last but not least, you'll only be able to create an account
with the same user name that appears on the credit card you register. So if
you're thinking of borrowing your spouse's card for a little online play,
forget it!
FCF was of particular interest to us because it's one of the few
"Play For Real" Flash game systems available on the Net. More are
appearing weekly, but they're still not all that common. If Flash Casino
Fortune is any indication, Flash games are definitely going to raise the bar
for no-download games.
Having said that, the games at Flash Wins aka Flash Casino
Fortune are not going to blow you away and you may find yourself a little
confused about the site's offers and what the details of participation actually
are.
